Each OS operator is pushing their own multimedia platform and with each newly revised OS upgrade, the previous hard work we have all completed will require new re-encoding to keep up with the Jones...

Beauty in the Eyes of the Beast
What is your favourite application?
When I was working in Windows 95 exclusively (oh so many years ago), I loved Irfranview (www.irfanview.com).
It opened in the blink of a eye, snapped through my high-res 1.2 megapixel Kodak snaps like there was no tomorrow. I promoted this lovely tool to so many people, I should have made up a t-shirt with the URL on the front.
In the office I still use this tool daily, although its feature set has grow exponentially. It still opens fast and just gets the job done.
